02Browsing
You can read every page without giving us anything. Sign-ins, mailing lists and private areas simply do not exist here, and we never installed analytics or visitor-measurement software of any kind.
03Correspondence
A message sent to our inbox, whether composed from scratch or prefilled by our form, reaches us with everything in it: usually a name, a return address and the text itself. We use that content solely to grasp your point and reply to it.
04Hosting logs
Like any web host, ours keeps rolling technical logs: IP address, user agent, the address requested, a timestamp. They exist to fend off abuse and keep pages online, they expire quickly, and nobody here mines them to work out who you are.
05Storage in your browser
One local storage value records your answer to the storage note. Our cookie note describes it.
06Things we never do
- Load advertising tags, social media plug-ins or tracking scripts.
- Build profiles of readers or make automated decisions about them.
- Sell, rent or swap personal data with anyone.
07Third parties
Typefaces arrive from Google Fonts; fetching them means Google sees your IP address. When you click through to a hotel website, that company's own privacy policy applies from then on.
08Grounds and storage period
Our footing is the legitimate interest of answering readers' mail. Correspondence stays in the inbox for the life of the conversation and is purged within a year of the final reply.
09Your rights
Data protection rules in your country may let you obtain a copy of what we hold, fix errors, have it erased, narrow or object to certain uses, and take a grievance to your national privacy regulator. Email the request; we answer inside whatever deadline your law sets.
10Age
serbiuserr is written for grown-ups of 18 and above. Mail that turns out to come from a younger sender gets deleted on discovery.
